FAQs

What is the difference between a nutrition coach and a nutritional therapy practitioner?

A Nutrition Coach is primarily behavior-focused—they help clients build consistent habits, simplify food choices, and stay accountable to goals like fat loss, performance, or general wellness.

An NTP takes a more holistic, root-cause approach by looking at how the body is functioning beneath the surface—like digestion, blood sugar balance, nutrient status, and overall physiology—and then makes personalized recommendations to support those systems.

What does it look like to work with selah holistic health?

We start with an intake process that involves a nutritional analysis and brief interview. We meet in person or virtually to discuss findings and create steps for reaching health goals. I create individualized recommendations for each client that ranges from nutrition education, support with lifestyle habits, meal plans, supplements, and if needed, functional labs.

Do you take insurance?

I do not work with insurance at this time, but I do offer payment plans.

What results can I expect in this process?

I strive to be the practitioner that I always needed— one who listens, validates, guides me to be more aware of my body’s cues, and is willing to get to the root-cause. Because healing isn’t linear, each person will have a completely different time frame in which they see improvements toward their health goals, but I will be supportive along the way. If your needs exceed my ability to support you, I will refer you wherever necessary.
